Do you want to escape the Queen’s little printed faces on your Jubilee Corn Flakes package tomorrow morning? Let’s head to Paris then! If you needed an occasion, here is one: the Designer’s Days. Until June 4, a real treasure hunt will take place in the French capital, from its very heart and beyond to the suburbs of Pantin. 90 addresses, showrooms, museums, local town halls, the Viaduc des Arts, the Atelier de Paris, bridges, walkways and squares will host varied exhibitions and scenographies, all linked by the theme “Identity (ies)”. Aiming to show the interactions between industry, technology and art, the design roadshow is also about illustrating the multiple and diverse facets of the design, the city and the participants. The connections between tradition and avant-garde will finally be materialised through six pairings of young designers and craftsmen. All you need to do is get lost somewhere along the circuit to discover the rich and passionate scene of today’s design.
Free entrance; places must be reserved and are limited by availability.
