As thousands of high-heels pound the catwalks of London this week we have started to notice a pattern… literally. Its seems like everyone has gone crazy for print on print this season, with Peter Pilotto leading the way. As winter is about to start this explosion of colour and pattern has been the perfect silver lining to the dark and cold days awaiting us. We cannot wait for Spring/Summer 2013 to come and copious amounts of patterns to lift us out of our winter blues.
Holly Fulton and Mary Katrantzou have similarly got us enthusiastic with their use of bold colours and graphic prints. Furthermore, Topshop Unique’s beautiful collection has also shown that print on print will still hold pride of place even within a more minimalistic look. Some could argue that multiple prints could be a styling nightmare but we have been pleasantly surprised to see so many brilliant creatives embracing patterns while creating this moodboard. We hope these images brighten your day; who doesn’t enjoy a bit of print on print?
